I get back pain too. I've found two important things for me -l. I have to have a firm seat and back with my back firmly against the back of the chair and 2. Make adjustments by small increments and give each some time to see if it helps. Also don't forget your shoulders. I'm short and have to get a balance between being too high/low for my shoulders and feet. In many places, mostly at desks and sewing tables I have to have a block for my feet so I can sit high enough for my shoulders not to hurt.
