Your quilt is beautiful and stitches are very nice. I don't use a set amount when hand quilting, I just kind of quilt by what the pattern of my fabric is...I am looking for the puffyness of the quilt to be just what I want...I guess I think 6 inches in some areas but in other parts of the quilt more or it could be less...yours is awesome..
