Thursday was my day trip to the Lancaster area with 3 lady friends. I found the perfect fabric for binding a quilt I just finished for my sister-in-law, at Good's, in East Earl, for $2.79 yd. My eyes lit up when I noticed they had Hoffman Bali PopsŪ 2-1/2" batik strips for $27 per pkg. At the Re-uzit shop on Rt 23 I purchased 4 older quilting magazines (.25 ea.), and a few pieces of fabric (.65 ea.) for the baby quilt I'm making. We saw Music of the Night, the songs of Andrew Lloyd Webber at the AMT, and indulged at Shady Maple for dinner. While the sun was shinning in NJ, it poured rain, and hail throughout our day in PA. No matter what the weather, you always have a fun day in the Lancaster area.
