First of all, I would like to apologize for all the whining I have done lately. May 3, I whined about my car dying, and my Janome 6600 croaking. Then on May 15, I whined about all the grief my Tin Lizzie was giving me. My apologies. I really appreciate the fact, that, all the board members, listen, without judgement and always give lots of encouragement for our daily trials and tribulations...thankyou. My DH was looking at my TL yesterday and he was as baffled as I was. We tried various tension adjustments, new needle, killed all the dust bunnies and still no luck. He said " let me see the bobbin case." I told him, I had dropped it a few times, but, I didn't think that would make a difference (I tend to have the droppsies many days with MS). Sure enough, I had bent the bobbin casing. He bent it back, just alittle, and said "try this". Well here is the miracle...IT WORKS GREAT! Needless to say, as soon as we can afford it, I will be ordering a new bobbin case, just to have as a spare. I had put on a new practise piece the day before, but, hadn't had the nerve to try it yet, so I thought...GO FOR IT. These are pictures of my first effort of using a pantogram and some free style quilting. I still need to practise, but, I think this looks pretty darn good. I will bind this piece and give it to my DGS who is 8 yrs old and a real fishing enthusist. Thanks for bearing with me through this and thanks for looking at my first project.
