I just finished my first quilt...lol...I ran out of stashing material...I now know why after reading Harriet Hargrave...anyway, it took me three months. I machine sewed the blocks, stashing and borders but hand appliqued and quilted. Dont look too closely at the applique...I should have read the book first with that one also...lol. But I finished it and am going to start another one. Love the process!
