I've been lurking, but not posting as I should.
Here's the real incentive for me right now ..... we have Tennessee Walker gaited horses. My favorite, Tenny, is 23 - getting old for a horse. Hubby wanted to sell him; I didn't. He said if I lose enough weight so I can ride the old horse without Tenny having to carry my excess weight and get tired, we'll keep him. We cannot afford to have a horse eat hay & grass, pay for shoeing, shots, vet bills, etc if we cannot ride the horse or pack him in the mountains. If I can lose the weight, I'll ride Tenny & another younger horse can pack our gear.
When Tenny gets really old, we have a friend who takes geriatric horses, feeds them, spoils them until they die, then uses a backhoe and buries them on her farm - Nursing Home for Horses - I love it!...& hope we keep Tenny long enough for him to go into Roberta's horsey nursing home!

BTW, afraid I'll be sending out a FQ, since I've only lost 8 pounds so far this month.
How are the rest of you doing?
