I saw this post earlier today:
I'm having my third epidural steroid injection tomorrow and have been in physical therapy for a couple of weeks now. Some improvement in the sciatic and SI joint pain but still sleeping sitting up in a chair. Have an appt with a neurosurgeon in a couple of weeks so hope to get a few more lbs off before then.

Having had a ruptured disk, several ESI (epidural steroid injections), and finally back surgery years ago, I know how you feel - I could sit, but not lie down or stand well, so I, too, slept in a chair or recliner for months. Happy that is behind me (pun intended!). My back will never be 100%, but I'm glad I had the surgery - would have stopped at ESI & PT if that were enough. I hope you continue to improve - just take it 1 day at a time.
