My log cabin quilt is so slow going that I don't think I can make another one in my lifetime--LOL. It's my take along/vacation project & it's all done with blue & white scraps. No scraps = no work on it.

I didn't even consider using the same fabric for the same pattern. I don't have enough yardage to do that and even if I did--I wouldn't. I often have to choose fabric based on how much yardage I have for a particular pattern and have made do with a different fabric/same color to finish a quilt several times.
