OH CJ I am sorry you had so much touble with this block. I loved it and got a twin size quilt completely done in about 4 hours. The last seam is the one you have to be really careful with. Make sure you pull the center part out and pin it really well. They didn't mention that on the video on youtube. That is where I found the pattern. Keep trying because once you master it then you will love this pattern. If you make the center block the same as one of the others then the pattern will look totally different..I can't remember the name of the block pattern pattern it makes , but it's really pretty that way...don't give up!!
