Hi Billy,
I'm so sorry to hear about the water in your daughter's house. If you have a minute would you please try to answer a question for me? I have a Singer 99K manufactured in Scotland with an allotment date of September 5, 1951. It does not have a Centennial badge on it, just a brass (copper?) outlined in black. What I'd like to know is do all machines manufactured in the Centennial timeframe have the distinctive badge or maybe it's only the machines made in America? I called Singer and they couldn't answer me. Maybe the Guru knows?
