As some of you have heard we have a volcanic eruption in Grimsvotn volcano. This is far away from me, I live in the opposite part of the country. My area has no volcanic or earthquake activity. This has not affected my family in any way but all flights have been cancelled today and tomorrow. My partner has to be at sea tomorrow so now he will have to drive to the ship ( in North Iceland ) he had planned to go by air this afternoon. They are predicting some ashes our way tomorrow though, I just hope this will not last for long. A friend from this board is going to come visit Iceland next week, IŽd hate for that to go wrong.
