I just consider anyone who uses the word 'antique' for something less than 100 yrs old as ignorant regarding what they are selling or whatever. Someone who really knows and understands antiques uses the word correctly. But antique dealers and shops sell things less than 100 yrs old and do not inform their customers of the difference. People think they are buying antiques and maybe would not buy if told it was only 'vintage.' I've seen a lot of dealers in action.
