Until last year that is. I made a baby quilt for my great-nephew and gave it to my nephew's wife at her baby shower. My former sister-in-law was there. When B opened her gift & everyone realized it was a handmade quilt, my sister-in-law started gushing about what a great seamstress I was, how I made all those dresses for her wedding, how I had sewn since I was a young girl, on & on. My jaw was on the floor! I never realized how much she did appreciate what I had done. I guess at 17 (her) & 22 (me) you just don't communicate it the way you can at 45 & 50 LOL!!!
I WON'T GO TO THE HOSPITAL TO GET MY TONSILS OUT UNTILL WE FIND MY FAVORITE QUILT THAT ARLENE MADE ME.MOM IT IS SO SOFT I HAVE TO HAVE IT.THE LITTLE GIRL I BABYSITTED UNTILL SHE STARTED SCHOOL SHE WAS ONLY 4 THEN AND NOW SHE IS 9 NOW.
