Miss Bess is on the picture to your left!!!!! She is a Pointer/Lab, eight years old, is my walking buddy and is scared to death of thunder and lightning! She talks, she is stubborn, she is very protective and loves to go for a ride in the car. Funny thing, she gets in the car, plops down and falls asleep! But the minute we come down the alley, she is wide-eyed and bushy-tailed waiting to jump out. She points rabbits like an old pro and gets on the scent and follows it, step by step to the point, honest, that she is standing on one front foot and one back foot and her tail just quivers. It is so neat. She also points moths - you know those little white ones that are in the grass. She has been known on several occasions to point, catch, look cross-eyed, open her mouth and out flies the moth and she looks so surprised. Hilarious. She loves children; our neighbor's little boy calls her Beshy! She lays on each and every quilt that I have made, donated, sold, given as gifts. Doesn't matter to her. I sit and bind and she lays on the quilt and takes her nap, until I have to move the quilt! The quilt she is on in the picture is the one I gave to that same little neighbor boy who calls her Beshy! We dearly love Bess. She's a really sweetheart - all 84 lbs of her. Edie
