I wanted a nice cool, peaceful quilt for the summer so I used just the one color with white for the Hunters Star. I know the stars don't show up well with so much white but I like the results for that "summer" look. And I like the lighter weight batting for summer too.[Hobbs 80/20. The pink and green one is for GD who likes those colors. It was the "easy, peasy" pattern of nine patches and snoballs. I enjoyed making it because it was so easy. Sometimes I need that "easy" one to do after tearing out a more complicated one, several times, which did happen with this particular Hunters Star. Had made one before this one and didn't have a problem so I blame it on the the color or lack of.
