thanks ladies...your suggestions are great...and I have done all of the above...obviously not well...lol....Sue Garman has instructions for determining the size of the border at each step..I did that...I measured through the middle...I am going to give it a pressing and see where it is going wonky on me...I will post a pic as soon as I get batteries charged for my camera...(and find it too..ha ha) I think i need a break from this quilt...last night i made the 4 log cabin corner pieces and have all the stars ready for the last border but now i have to stop and see what is going on...I CAN'T IMAGINE HAVING TO TAKE THIS APART...but i will if i have to...in the summer... I am going to add 2 photos...it is hard to see but it seems to be tight at the 4 corners...may have something to do with the last 3 skinny borders I put on....i took a closeup of the top right corner...when i put it up on the flannel it didn't seem as bad as when i had it on my cutting table...tell me what you really think...i am tough and won't cry or get offended...
actually now that i see the picture you can see what i mean in the first pic...top right...do you think that I can work that out when I baste it..
