I wanted to add a new smaller addition to my sewing room. Found her in local classifieds sponsored by a local tv station. She came from Ammon Idaho (via shipping). She is a "Century of Sewing 1951" 221-1 Featherweight. Came with original case, 2 attachments, Original Handbook 25 bobbins and additional 9 other bobbins that I don't think belong to the featherweight. I plugged her in and had to do some stitches, they are 'perfect'. Will oil her up and start using. Cost $275.

The original owner had put a piece of white tape to mark a
perfect 1/4" seam and was a great quilter (per granddaugher who I bought it from).

Anyone know what the black attachment is for? Handbook doesn't show this. Anyone know of websites for help, etc on this machine.
