I had similar surgery when I broke my wrist and I found a cheap salon (Great Clips) to shampoo and blow dry my hair every three days or so. They were so nice and it was pretty inexpensive compared to the stress I would have caused myself trying to wash (never mind dry!) my hair one handed. Even if you just do this a few times as a splurge, it's worth knowing you look good!
