I did see several say they sent after the cut-off and I am hopeful that they will do better next month. I expect we will see a lot of packages delivered early this week.

Sometimes packages arrive really quickly and other are slow. I posted on the final posting date (16th) but my package is travelling thousands of miles across the pond, so I think it would take at least a week.
As you said in your post.... lots of packages arriving this week!

I agree with you, it is frustrating not to get your package early but there is still time left.
If yours is coming from across the country it can take a week or so to get there. I live on the west coast and even mailing priority it usually takes a good week or more to get across the country.
This month I mailed mine internationally and on time, but it has not arrived yet - according to tracking. It should arrive sometime this week.
