I have made my first Dahlia using the 6 x 3 method so as not to make it too bulky.
To improve on this method I now intend to use 6 x 4 and then turn over the top 1 Inch for a neater finish.
From rows 5 to 7 I intend to try 7 x 4 still turning over 1 inch at the top.
The fabric only just meets at the the last point in the one I have just made using all 6 x 3..
I did use a linen fabric in some of my Dahlia (which is a thicker fabric) so it would match my other cushions.
Looks fabulous though. Giving a "tute" tomorrow so we Aussie ladies will get our heads together over this one.
