I went to pull out the roll of freezer paper to use on the signature quilt I'm working on (per recommendation of a board member - to back the areas that will be signed). Lo and behold - it turned out to be parchment paper. Not sure how that happened - and for the record - it did not stick when ironed on.

This morning I scooted in to Food Lion to find freezer paper and it is shelved next to the parchment paper. However, I did get a good laugh as there is a picture on the corner of the box advertising it as great for quilt applique work. So I definitely have the right stuff now.

The parchment paper will move out to the kitchen now.

This is the mock up of the quilt- last night I sewed the horizontal sashing with cornerstones and two of the borders. Hopefully I can add the other borders tonight so that I can take it to school so that kids can start signing.

Cheers, K
