My local sewing repair/vaccuum repair shop has Featherweight bobbins even though it hasn't been a Singer dealer in years. They don't seem to be hard to find and are easy to distinguish as they are a narrower bobbin than any other that I've seen. Featherweight bobbins will only fit Featherweights and 301 (considered the big sister) Singers. Experiment with your stitch length until you are happy with it. Happy stitching.
