I have a question regarding yard/estate sales. Since most people don't advertise in the paper anymore, how do you find out about the sales? I have looked around on line, but can't seem to find the good sales in my area. I was hoping some of the yard sale experts could tell me the secrets to finding them.

For me I search Craigs List using the terms fabric, sewing or quilting and always find several estate sales or garage sales that have some of my criteria. Though, it really helps if you're located near a large city. I can see how people in remote areas just don't have the access to the sales, like we suburbanites do.
Thanks....It seems like for me they just put up signs and I am pretty late for the good stuff. I will keep checking on Craigs list and hopefully stuff shows up this spring!!
