Your block looks perfect to me. I assisted at a quilt show on how to do this and believe me People not familar with the design made every step wrong. You will feel a lot better after you do another. Even children how to do this and they loved the challenge. It took me a few tries the first time. By the way I really love those prints you used. I like green a lot and they are most charming.
