i have a quilt my great aunt made- she used seersucker in some of the blocks- it is a beautiful quilt- and i do not see any sign that it stretched or looked more difficult to use than any other cotton fabric...as long as the fabric is in fact cotton- i would think it would be just fine...if its real thin you may want to use a stablizer with it.
