The nice things about fat quarter pillow cases are: you can use two focus fabrics, plus 2 other accent ones, so that if you turn the pillow over, you have a different look; they are really stash friendly and provide a great excuse to buy more fabric...; plus they are super simple and finish nicely. You can finish one off in less than an hour, including French seams if you want.
I'll see if I can find the PDF for the pattern - I've made so many that I do them by heart now!

Yes, yes yes! You've found it! This is the right pattern - thank you so much.
I've made mine in oriental fabrics and in flowery ones. I try to find two interesting complimentary prints for the fabrics that will show the most, then a slightly darker complimentary one for the 'end' and a 'reads like a solid' or small scale print for the FQ that will be the border. I don't put any ribbon on them, as the pattern does, though.
They're great!
