Just checking in from SE Tulsa. It was a nerve-racking night. We had one heading straight for us but it veered off to the south of us and hit Haskel instead. I stayed glued to the computer watching the radar while sirens were doing their thing. At least I could track it that way.
Glad you are safe...I hear you my husband stayed outside the whole time it was hailing and everything else...they news says take shelter and they don't ...I agree MEN!!!
I agree. When we have hurricanes, the men get out and watch from the carport. Most of our hurricanes have hit during the night. Our last one was during the day, and I found myself out on the carport watching, too. Not half as scary as HEARING it during the night. But when the worst came, I high-tailed it into the house.
Yeah, I would love to watch but I'm so scared of them since I've been in one before and know what it can do! But I did wait until the sierns went off before I went to the cellar...My husband and neighbors (MEN) all stayed outside except one..he said when the hail came that was enough for him...LOL and he came and joined us in our shelter, we have a huge cellar and we told our neighbors come on I just cleaned it out this morning...LOL
