I love the colors and designs but has anyone else noticed that the weight of the fabrics seems to be significantly less than other manufacturers? I am using quite a bit of the Kaffe Fassett "woven haze stripes" in a hand-pieced quilt that I hope will last for generations in my family. Now I'm starting to regret the choice of fabric because I'm afraid it won't stand the test of time. Any suggestions on how to reinforce it so it doesn't fall apart with washings over the years?
