I'm not a "flowery" person... I like strong and rich colours, and especially brights. I like geometric patterns, optical illusions, repetitive patterns, that kind of thing. My only "girly" habit is butterflys, I have an extensive collection of butterfly fabrics. :-)
Because I didn't like the fabrics, I was determined to not spend too much time on that quilt, and just "threw" it together. And as the lady at my quilt shop predicted, it became one of my favourites.
