I always tell people that's how I wanted it. With so many patterns and techniques out there no one will know if it is not perfect. In my eyes the only way I can tell a beginner is if the blocks have puckers or do not lay flat. Even then some fabrics just won't lay flat. Take a break it will be okay. Don't give up. It is all a learning experience.
