Hi, Carolina Quilter! My husband and I just came back from babysitting one of our grandbabies, in Savannah. We stopped in Charlotte on the way home . . . really liking the Lake Norman area. My husband will soon be retiring, and we liked the area. While our children were raised in the Atlanta area, they have all settled in the NE. We don't tolerate the cold so well anymore.
