Please do not rely on vinegar for setting of dyes. Vinegar works on acid type dyes. Modern cotton fabrics are never dyed useing acid type dyes. Some benifits from using vinegar to wash are the effects of prewashing, the vinegar will not work to set quilters cotton dyes.
Retyane for setting dyes. Do use with 140 degree water when setting, all washes after must be cool/cold water.
