I've only read about 1/2 the responses so far but were it me, that fabric would be in the trash! DH had a red t-shirt at one point that had been laundered more times than I could count and it still bled. Into the trash it went. Couldn't deal with all the problems it created. You've probably spent more on water/detergent/color catchers/retayne/synthropol than what you spent on the fabric by now. Sorry you're having this issue. I had the same problem with a green once. I prewashed w/o color catchers so didn't really notice a problem until it bled all over my completed quilt. Washed that at least a half dozen times and it still was bleeding. Gave the quilt to it's recipient with a box of color catchers and told them never to wash it without them. Good luck.
