This sounds like something I would do. I made the borders for my DGS's quilt and I must be visually challenged because I had to do the top border 3 times before I got all of the squares facing the right way. It goes to the quilter tomorow so any errors will just be my interpretation of the original pattern. The Amish always make an error in their quilts because only God is perfect. My grandmother came from Amish ancestors so I always use that for my excuse.
Yeah, but turning one block side goggling is one thing-------a whole 9' long border inside out is another problem altogether.
I already figured out how I'll half way hide it when I hang it to display at the church hall. I'm going to fold the right hand side slightly to highlight the beautiful quilting. (is that cheating?)
