IF you are keeping up with your other bills - - - and are not overloaded with debt -

and you can still move about in your house/home - - -

and what you are doing is not costing them any out-of-pocket expense (except for possible inheritance money) - - -

and it isn't hurting any one else - - -

Then I think one is entitled to indulge in one's hobbies/passions.


But if, for example, one is buying fabric and sewing supplies and NOT taking care of one's health - then perhaps one needs to re-evaluate one's priorities.

Just saying - - -

I have advised my kids that there IS value in some of the fabric I've acquired. It's up to them to mine it, if they so choose.
