Betty, I have no idea. I was asked if I would put the already made blocks together for this friend whose mother died before she could finish the quilt. She had already appliqued the butterflies to the muslin and hand stitched them herself. There were 12 beautiful 15 1/2 X 15 1/2" blocks that I had. I quilted around each butterfly and inside the wings. I also quilted small butterflies on the sashing and border. FMQ isn't too bad, may not be perfect, but it turned out ok. I just hope he likes the quilt. He has one daughter, so I'm thinking she is going to get the quilt that her mother started. Thanks for the comments.
