Oh boy, gave a custom quilted baby quilt to my FBF for her son's 2nd grandchild. She looked at it, said it was nice---and then she smelled it and said, "It doesn't smell."
Fast forward to her daughter's shower for her SECOND child---mind you, I am not close to the children at all, and when my nice gift was opened (maybe a cute outfit and a rattle or something)---FBF said, "oh, she is going to make her a quilt, too."
Child is over three and the top is partially done--I periodically get questioned about my progress--and was told it has to be at least twin sized.
