I have so many unfinished things that I was feeling guilty about spending money on more. But, even feeling guilty, I bought about 100 bucks of hand dyes for this project my GF and I are doing next week plus I bought some wool batting for a project even though I had poly. Wool was just better.

I just could not figure out where all the money went. Thousands, poof, out of my checkbook. I had over 5K in out of pocket medical in the past few months plus taxes (federal, state and real estate) plus the furnace and the drier both died. I know that's alot of money but I am broke.

You have to realize that I never balance my checkbook. I pulled out my back statements. So I started asking people for itemized statements because something didnt feel right.

Anyway, I came back from the quilt store with the batting. I open the mail and the itemized statements had come in. I sat down to figure this out. Im doing the happy dance! Apparently, when I had my surgery I really messed up the bills. I paid my mortgage twice one month--$1500, I paid a credit card twice $3900 plus I went through my medical statements and found where a Doctor billed me for 300 bucks that really was already paid at the time of the office visits. Then we have over 1800 in work reimbursements that are pending....always paid at the end of the quarter, not a big deal but I had forgotten that check was coming in.

Whew!! I still dont really need any more quilting things but it's a load off of my mind to realize that I am not insane.
