I am a food service manager and assistant to the director of the local school corporation. Until recently a large portion of the meat we served came directly from the govt. Now almost all of our meat is process through the same companies you find in the grocery stories, Tyson, JennieO, for example.
We do our very best to serve healty, low fat choices daily. But, what do our customers (the students) want? Chicken!
