Sometimes things just come together. Hubby and I were on the way to the airport to pick up his visiting son (yippee!! I love that kid!). We chatted about music and movies and whatnot.
re movies - we were just entering the highway at our exit and hubby pointed to the hotel there and said "we must show Will the hotel". Reason being is that this paticular flea pit was used in the movie "Planes Trains and Automobiles" which happens to be one of Will's favorite movies.
re music - we talked about our 'guilty pleasures' and hubby said his was "Mr Sandman". Not so guilty as I like it too (mine is Dankeshein <g>).
We get Will at the airport, get home, have some pizza and put the TV on so we can keep Will awake to adjust to the time zone (which at 16 he has NO problem with!). Guess what movie is on.
Planes Trains and Automobiles - and yes Will now recognizes the "Braidwood Inn".
After that we see "Uncle Buck" and hear the song "Mr Sandman".
After that "Ferris Buelers Day Off" and Dankeshein.
Honestly ... I should have played the flipping lottery.
