Our quilting groups here in georgia, make quilts for the vets. We make them and the VFW delivers them to the VA hospital. We also make quilts for the animal shelters. If you don't want to do this I am sure there has to be a quilting group that does donations that would love to have you donate this for their use for charities. I believe you could also itemize and take as a donation on taxes. Please don't just thro them away, we made 39 quilts to give to our new VA clinic in st.marys,georgia in just 3 months time. They need the lap quilts, also think about your nursing homes. hope this helps with ideas. gennie schmudde
