I bought the SKUBB hanging organizer
http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/50188957 and the matching SKUBB boxes. The boxes fit snuggly in the spaces. I use it for storing fat quarters and it keep them clean. I love it! It's the best & cheapest storage idea (for me)!
In Arizona where I live, fine dirt/silt is a problem. It's frequently windy here. In New Mexico they refer to the dust as "Enchantment". NM is called The Land of Enchantment). Here it's just dirt/dust/silt :)
