I usually press/iron it right before cutting it. No point in pressing it twice before cutting it (usually).

It usually is relatively wrinkle free when I take it out of the dryer (or off the line) so I just smooth it out with my hands when I fold it.

Once in a while there is a really rumpled one - that one I will iron before putting it on the stack - just to make it fold better.
