To get a more accurate idea of her actual birthdate (no one knows exactly what days particular machines were made), look up the next run of 99s...figure out where your machine's serial number falls within IT'S OWN RUN, and you'll have a better estimate of the month it was actually "born" in! :) Example: My 15-91 was commissioned November 9 of 1945, the next run of 15s was April of 1946... "Anne's" serial number is in about the top 1/3 of that run of numbers...I figure she was actually made in January/February of 1946.

Whatcha gonna name her?
not sure about a name yet. I sorta like Lilly. We were in the mountains all weekend so I didn't get to play with her yet. I can't wait. I read the cleaning tut from Billy and it scares me to take it all a part. I am not all that good mechanically. I will have to look closer to the date to see when she was born. I think it said 50,000 around that time so it could be fun figuring it out. Can't wait to get going on her, maybe tomorrow. Now I need to do some laundry and get ready for work tomorrow. Thanks for looking, I think I have a beauty!
