but I do have one that I love to piece on. It is a strong, tough machine and I am convinced it would sew two asphalt shingles together. And please, even if it comes in a case, don't consider it a portable unless you're nickname is Bubba and you lift weights. My recollection tells me the K just indicates where it was made. Having owned a 201 for 45+ years, I agree that it would sew through shingles. Loved your other comments too! lol! I have some pretty pricey new machines that can't hold a candle to the pretty stitches she makes nor how rugged she is. She was my first love & will always be a favorite!
