I have a couple of old quilts I found in my Mom's stuff and I have no idea where they came from - isn't that awful. My Mom sewed, but don't think she made quilts and know my grandmother did not. Might be my Dad's adopted mother's - all deceased now.
So glad you wer able to have the quilt and cherish it!
