The tape measure says japan.. However I havent looked on the bottom.. They are worth more to me than anyone would ever pay me for them..
That's true. However, if they were marked like that, it would be important for your family to know for the future. My children have no desire to keep my collections when I leave. But it's important for them to know the value so when they try to sell them, they won't be taken. I have purchased some beautiful collectibles at garage sales for $.50 to $3 or $4 that were worth ten times that amount. Unfortunately, our kids don't always share our emotional attachment to some of our "oldies".
