Yes you definitely need help, but I live too far away from you. I suggest you find a local quilt club and make friends there so you will have someone to help you. They will help you go shopping for fabric. They will help you by sharing advice and tips; by sharing patterns and showing their quilts so you see new ones that you just have to make.
We here on the board will also help you in every way possible. Mainly, tho, we are limited to giving you praise and encouragement and making sure you have lots of things to read and look at when you are here.
