I just recently got a 128 similar to the first photo also but if you were just going to buy one of the two machines and the second one was the same or less in price than the first, I would go with that one. Why? Because it has the regular drop in bobbin (easier to use and fill) and looks to be well kept. All the being said, if money is not object and you can get a good deal, I would make an offer on the 128 (first photo) since they are moving and maybe get them both. It does mention in the first ad that it has a wooden case with a key so it sounds like the Bentwood case (I always called these "lunchbox" cases because they look like my father's old lunchbox that he took to work) and therefore is a portable. Good luck! Let us know what you end up with. Remember, you can never be too rich, too thin, or have too many machines!!! lol
