I agree with all the statements offered here, and I really enjoy my quilting. you didn't mention your age(this sometimes makes a difference) or if you have a DH . My theory is that we shouldn't let anything we do take complete control of our lives. Enjoy as long as you don't shortchange your family or spend more than you can afford. I am 50 with the summers off and grown children. My DH happily supports my habits. It isn't controlling my life, but it sure is taking up a lot of my thoughts!
